STRADA

STRADA was developed in close collaboration with healthcare providers. Research shows that early and intensive training after a stroke improves the chances of returning to a normal life. Other important factors for effective rehabilitation are that it is individually tailored, regular, and supervised by healthcare professionals. Using a motion camera and microphone on the patient's side, the healthcare provider stays in contact with the patient via a computer with a video camera. This allows the patient to undergo effective rehabilitation at home.

The exercises comprise seven different variants based on established methods and scales specifically for stroke patients. The exercises are designed as a game, which leads to higher motivation to exercise among patients. The patient's rehabilitation plan is prepared by healthcare personnel who have access to an integrated patient management system in which all patient data, training plans, and recorded training results are available. The exercises focus on building up the patient's strength, mobility, and coordination.

Patients who have suffered a stroke perform exercises in STRADA that focus on building up their strength, mobility, and coordination.
