VR Strålning

A VR solution that creates security.

Together with RCC West (Regional Cancer Center) and Maria Brovall, associate professor of nursing at Jönköping University and the researcher who led this project, we have developed a VR (virtual reality) solution. With the help of the VR solution, patients can go on a virtual study visit to the Sahlgrenska radiation department. Together with a complementary app, the VR solution enables a new way of obtaining information. The hope is that the solution will make cancer patients feel secure and more prepared for radiation treatment.

At Dimh, we have contributed with concept development, film, development of VR tools and apps, and participated in workshops.
